Job Opening: Part-time English Instructors
(Korean-English Bilingual Speakers)
The Foreign Language Education Center of the Language Education Institute at Seoul National University is looking for friendly, experienced, and qualified part-time instructors.
Position: Part-time English Instructor
Start Date: March 1, 2017
Organization: Language Education Institute (LEI), Seoul National University
Location: Seoul, South Korea
1. Qualifications
- (a)Native English speaker or Korean bilingual with high levels of fluency in English
- (b)Master's degree or above
- (c)More than one year of teaching experience at the university level
- (d)Consideration will be given to candidates who meet one or more of the following conditions:
- those with experience in teaching TEPS or TOEFL
- those with experience in teaching English to children
- those with qualifications by an English-medium secondary or tertiary school - (e)Korean nationality, or VISA Status: E-2, F-4, F-6
2. Job Description To teach some or all of the following classes
- -English Test Preparation (e.g. TEPS, TOEFL)
- -Academic Writing
- -Young Readers’ Club (reading and discussion skills for children aged 7-12)
3. Payment 39,000~45,000 KRW per hour (depending on the classes)
4. Procedure

- -Mock lecture and interview (Candidates selected for interviews will be notified of the interview schedule.)
